Rincon Reservation

I really enjoyed the trip to the Rincon Reservation. I have never been out in that area, so thank goodness I drove with someone who knew where they were going! It was hard to see the areas that were burned and to learn that the reservation lost a lot of their historical buildings. But it was cool to see that there is a lot re-growth after the fires, and because of the recent rains, the mountains were really green. I liked the contrast of the dark burned trees, with the bright green valley. It gave me a sense of hope for what was to come after the devastation that the fire left behind.
